Now I need to get working on my own family Christmas cards!
What to do? What to do? Stay tuned!

Move to Springville!

Early A.M. Oct 17th. Robert, Cameron, and Dad start the move! This was our 3rd move this year. The first weekend in March we moved from our basement apt in Orem to the upstairs part of that house. That only lasted five months. Our landlord got married and wanted to move there with his new bride. So Robert and I lived with my parents for a couple of months until we found a place to buy of our own. This move started at my parents so we could load up a few things from their house, then they went to McD's for breakfast and still got to the storage shed by 8:00 am. What troopers! We were grateful for their help! Robert got to return the favor the very next Saturday by helping Cameron move his family into their new house in Lehi! (Back in Aug, Cameron moved to his in-laws the week before we moved to my parents. We closed on our new homes the same day and moved again a week apart!) NO MORE MOVES SOON PLEASE!
After breakfast at McD's, my mom and I went to start the cleaning at our new home. We could't get in the day before like originally planned because we were generous enough to let the sellers have more time to move out. (Over 72 hours) I was hoping they would return the favor by leaving a clean house...but NO LUCK. It was pretty darn dirty. My mom is the BEST! She spent HOURS in the kitchen cleaning dirt and grime. Who knew a kitchen could get so filthy. Our friend Alex is in this picture with my mom. A few people took turns helping out in there!
Robert spent some time putting together some of the furniture.
Robert's brother Lane enjoyed our bathtub! I think every master bath should have a soaker tub! It's SO big! No jets, but that's okay! I could deliver my baby there! But won't... :)
Just another picture of Robert putting together some furniture. He's putting the feet on the couch. The other person with the red cup is Robert's littlest brother Sterling. I'm not sure if this picture was taken before or after Sterling's 3 hour nap in my closet. :P What a stink.
I'm WAY bummed I forgot to pull out my camera to take pictures of everyone who showed up to help us move! I was amazed at all the help we got from our new ward! Robert has a buddy who lives in this ward and he brought 4 or 5 guys with him to help us out! It was GREAT! My favorite part was the line they formed from the truck into the garage and back into the basement, like a procession line, passing the boxes down the row! So funny! But AWESOME! Thanks SO Much to my dad and mom, Cameron, Marie, Hyrum and his boys that came, cuz Kurt and Melody, and friends who helped out! We appreciate it!

Bunk Bed Building Babes!

I took my sis-in-law Marie, and my cuz, Melody, upstairs to the boys room to put together the bunkbeds! Robert walked in right when we were getting started and said something "smart" about us not being able to do the task. I think he really thought we couldn't do it without instructions or something. Probably cause he messes something up every time he puts it together! LOL! Well...we girls did it. Without instructions, and without a man! And we did it right the first time! :) Oh...and we had a ball doing it! As you can see from the first picture! This is our cousin Melody! Thanks for your help Mel!!!
I was having a good 'ol time too! I'm not going to lie though, I was glad for the help!
Marie was such a trooper! Not only was she a great help, but she did it while being a great mom too! It helps that her baby is the happiest baby ever! He was so content watching his momma build his cousin's bunkbeds! Thanks Marie!!!
The finished project! We did it! Was there ever a doubt?! (Besides from Robert...) LOL! I guess he thinks he's the only handy one around here. Well, I suppose he is most of the time.
Jackson approves! He was walking around the whole house hugging everything! "My bed!" "My chair!" "My toys!" It was funny! I guess he had a bit of separation anxiety having most of our stuff locked in storage for almost three months! :) I just wish he still loved his bed this much, around 8:30 pm, GO TO BED JACK!!!

Witch Hunt at Gardner's Village 2009

We had a blast at Gardner's Village with the boys! I have wanted to go for years but never had. I think we'll need to make this one a Halloween tradition! The boys had a blast finding the witches and then getting a cookie from the neighborhood bakery! Here are a few pictures of our adventures! I didn't take many...my hands were cold! :)

Hair Cuts!

Robert shaved his head one evening and Jack insisted that he get the SAME hair cut.
So Robert shaved Jack's head too!

Austin did NOT want his head shaved.
But he had fun watching Jack get his hair cut.

All done! Daddy and Jack pose for the camera!

Jackson LOVED his new hair cut!
A couple of weeks later I walked into the playroom to find this...

Austin told me he wanted to be like daddy and Jack! So he got my peanut trimmer and hid himself in the playroom and shaved his own head. I had to get pictures before I finished his hair cut! He was happy to be like his daddy and Jack!

Christmas Stockings!

Three years ago when I worked at Mercedes-Benz of Lindon, I was sometime quite bored during our slow, winter months. The other girls at the reception desk were in school and would bring their homework to work on during their down time. I mentioned to my mom that I wish I had something more to do than read the latest Harry Potter book and play yahoo games online. Shortly after my mom handed me a stocking kit and said, "Here! Make this!" I was expecting Jack at the time and thought it would be fun to have it done for him by Christmas! Well...I did have it done by Christmas...THREE YEARS LATER! :) But I also now have Austin's finished and Robert's ALMOST done. My goal is to have it done before my baby girl is born and put her in the stocking for some awesome pictures at the Hospital! :) And...that's all Robert's getting for Christmas in his stocking this year anyhow! :)

Baby Jumping Bean

This is baby Jumping Bean! When we had this Ultrasound a couple weeks ago, we were amazed to see the little bean wiggling all over the place. It seriously looked like a jumping bean! I still giggle just thinking about it! In fact, just thinking about that day makes me smile!

We were not planning this addition to our family after we had lost the last one, just 13 weeks ago. We thought it would be nice to wait for a Spring baby next year! But obviously there was another plan for us. Only 6 weeks after my miscarriage I had gained a lot of weight (which those who know me well, know that I had lost a lot of weight last year and was doing everything in my power to keep it off...plus some!) I had not gained any weight in the first 11 weeks of the last pregnancy, so I was getting really bummed out at the immediate 10 lb addition to the scale. Everyone told me it was my hormones or something...which, yeah, with me it usually is! But I was also having other signs of pregnancy, which I will not go into detail about!

I was at work one evening and was discussing my frustration about the weight gain and the other annoying signs of pregnancy (still believing it was a hormonal imbalance left over from the previous month) when one of my friends suggested I should take a pregnancy test. Low and behold...she had one in her purse! So she graciously let me take it and to my shock and surprise, it was positive!

Now, without going into more details...let's just say I had no idea how far along I was! I had a guess, but when it came time for our ultrasound with my new awesome doctor, he measured me at 10 weeks 6 days. That was on a Friday, 11 weeks to the day that I had miscarried. HOLY COW! What are the chances of that. So let me rephrase. I lost baby jelly bean on Friday Feb 27th. The first day of this pregnancy for jumping bean measured on Saturday Feb 28th. (That's from the whole technical jargon of measuring your pregnancy starting on the first day of your last cycle, for those who don't know). So yeah...is that too detailed? Well, it sure is funny though, huh?! We were stunned. I was WAY farther along than I had thought, which meant I was out of my first trimester in no time!

So today I am exactly 13 weeks. I am due on December 5th. That was actually bummer news for me. I never ever wanted a December baby again. But I'm getting over it! I'm just glad that we are both doing well and growing properly! Luckily my weight stabilized, and I even lost a few pounds from being too sick to eat. Good news though, I haven't thrown up even once. I was extremely nauseated for a few weeks though. I am doing much better now if I eat healthy and eat every hour! :)

I will keep you posted on our progress! The boys are thrilled for the baby! Austin wants a sister and told me he might cry if it's a brother. He makes me laugh! I'll have to make a separate entry sometime on all the funny things he says to me about this baby! What a silly boy!

Fabulous Five

The first people to leave a comment on this blog will receive something made by me.
However there are some limitations
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done this year. (might take a while)
4. You have not clue what it is going to be, poetry, shoes, bags or a little invention of my own. I may bake something and mail it you . Who knows? Not you that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. It may blow your mind!
Here is the catch, if you choose to do this. You must post this on your blog and be ready to make something for five people too. This will be fun! When you receive the fabulous item I make you, you must post a picture of it on your blog.

Reflection

My mind is racing. It was exactly two weeks ago tonight that I wrote my last post on this blog. And it was that night that I woke up with no control over the events that were taking place. I woke up at 4. Got out of bed at 4:30. Then for the next hour prepared my mind and body for the miscarriage that was surely taking place. I remember whispering to myself, "it's okay Natalie. you can do this. you are okay", and then I sang to myself, "I Heard Him Come". Still not sure why. But I usually sing when I'm afraid.
It was hard. Nothing I ever expected would ever happen to me. But I am okay. And I am overwhelmed with gratitude for my family. My friends. My ward. And my Heavenly Father. I don't know why we have certain trials. But I do know that through my trials I have an amazing opportunity to grow in many aspects. Sometimes I don't take the opportunity and feel sorry for myself. But not this time. I didn't feel sorry for myself. I felt sorry for all the many woman who tried to comfort me by telling me that they understood because they had miscarried too. I cried for them. Is that weird?
I'm grateful for my husband, who laughs and cries with me, who holds me because he cares. I'm grateful for my two perfect healthy boys. They are tremendous joys in my life. I'm grateful for my family who sacrificed much to help me and my family. I'm grateful for my friends who check up on me and lend an ear to listen. I'm especially grateful for my ward and for the love they freely give. I'm eternally grateful to my Heavenly Father, and Savior and for His atoning sacrifice. I would be truly and utterly lost right now without it.

Lost Boys!

The boys were playing dress up tonight as Peter Pan's Lost Boys! They play so darn cute together most times! As you can easily see from this picture, Jackson looks up to his big brother and wants to be just like him! That is truly a look of love and admiration! I'm so grateful these two are MY boys! Although, Peter Pan had a good idea of never growing up! I sometimes wish they could stay little forever, but it is fun watching them grow and learn and discover the world around them! They were dancing all around the room pretending to fight pirates! Austin pushed Jackson around in his Pirate Boat (a cardboard box)! They jumped off cliffs, taking turns "catching" each other! What fun imaginations these two have! LOVE MY BOYS!

Mommy's got the Mummy Flu!

For those of you who don't know what the Mummy Flu is...it is what turns you into a "mummy" in 9 months...usually with a bit of sickness, hence the "flu" part! :o) I posted on my facebook status that I had the Mummy Flu, but not many people got it! :o)

Robert and I are very excited to be expecting our third little angel baby! It was a LONG time in the planning...I almost gave up for a while! (No more winter babies for me thanks!) But we were surprised that after about 6 months of trying we got our bun in the oven! We are expecting Baby Bean towards the end of September. My due date was pushed back from the 10th to the 20th. But I'll most likely be later than that anyhow...my kids don't like to make an early appearance! They are fashionably late...like I was! :o)

The ultra sound picture isn't the best, because it was taken when I thought I was 10 weeks, but the baby measured 7 weeks, 4 days. Surprise to me. Thrown back smack dab in the middle of the first trimester! But I haven't had morning sickness and I haven't thrown up once. So that is a blessing! This was taken Feb 12th. I had another one done on Feb 16th and they got WAY better pictures, but I didn't get to take any home...shoot. And the baby measured 9 weeks, 1 day then, so that's the due date I'm going by! :o)

Well, thank you for well-wishes and support! We're thrilled! We just pray that momma and baby will be healthy! I'll keep you updated on our progress! My two boys are excited! Austin asks me everyday when the baby is coming out! He wants another brother! I'd be excited for either!

Happy Valentines Day!

I'm late posting this, but it's been a CRAZY week.
This is the Valentines Day Card I made for my family! ENJOY!

Maked Me!

I was cleaning out the computer desk today and I found one of the kids plastic spoons. I turned to Austin to ask him if he would take it to the Kitchen. He told me, "Jackson wants to take it." He then gave Jackson the spoon and Jackson ran to the Kitchen. Austin said, "See Mom, Jackson took it!" I asked, "Did you make him?" and he sweetly replied, "No, Heavenly Father maked him!"

And how incredibly grateful I am to my Heavenly Father for my "maked" littled boys!

And please bless...

The other night before bed time we knelt down for family prayer with the boys and it was Austin's turn to say his prayer first. He had a hard time getting through it because Jackson was copying him as he prayed and he didn't like that. I had to hold Jackson and reassure him he would get his turn next. Austin finally finished his prayer and then it was his brothers turn. Robert and I take turns helping the boys pray and this night it was my turn! I held Jackson as he said his prayer. I prompted him to bless Daddy, and Momma, and Austin that they would be safe and...I felt a jerk and looked down at Jackson and his eyes were WIDE open and in the sweetest voice he said "and Jack-Jack?" YES! Please bless Jack-Jack! It was a sweet moment!

Tonight after I got off work Robert wanted to run some errands. I hadn't eaten dinner and neither had they, so we decided to go to Little Caesars for a pizza. On the way there Austin saw his favorite restaurant and exclaimed, "I want to go to BOOGER KING!!" Robert and I busted up laughing! We couldn't resist, plus we had coupons! Yea for Booger King! Yea for Austin!

Taking Lane to the MTC

Lane chose Pizza Doc's for his last lunch date with the whole family! It was a blast! We ate lots of Pizza, salad, pasta, bread sticks, dessert, and ice cream! YUM! And yeah...that is a shiner on Lane's eye! He got it from a Missionary serving in Orem! :o) LOL! Okay...well it was an accident. They were playing football on Thanksgiving morning and Lane got tackled. OUCH!

We were smiley and happy and fighting back the tears!

Lane just being a poser! I should compile a book of all the pictures I have of Lane and his "funny faces"! I have A LOT! He sure is a HAM on camera!

YUM! Ice cream cones! Jackson was happy for his treat and had fun playing with his missionary uncles...one newly returned...one just leaving! :o)

It was COLD...but a VERY good day! I can't believe this is the LeBaron's 5th time putting a child in the MTC. What blessings! Only one more to go now! :o)

Elder's LeBaron! Lane entered the MTC the same day as his cousin Christopher! Christopher is going to serve his mission in the Seoul Korea West Mission. His name tag looked so cool! Lane is going to the Omaha Nebraska Mission!

Our final picture with Uncle Elder Lane on a mission! :o) I can't wait to hear about all his experiences and growth on his mission! What an AWESOME time for him!!
