Thanks Dr. Seuss!

We love to read stories! We have many favorites! What I especially love is when we can make connections from our beloved books to our real life, to learn lessons from!
Austin is getting good at incorporating a moral of a story into real life...sometime he gets it wrong, but it's still cute!
Tonight we were shopping at Macey's grocery store and we were trying to decide what treat to buy the boys. I was giving Austin a few options, however none was what he had originally wanted because they were gone. After a few minutes of discussing the options with him he yells out "I do not like them, Sam I am!"
It was hilarious! I then reminded him that he should try them and he may! "Try them and you may I say!"
HE DID! HE LIKED THEM! THANKS DR. SEUSS!

My Bunco Design!

This is the design I came up with for my team's Bunco Babes Blog! Since it's a private team blog and everyone can't view it, I thought it would be fun to show off my design here. It might be a little TOO pink...I haven't decided yet.
But it's kinda cool. I drew all the glitter dice in photoshop! The picture of us in the middle is the header, it scrolls up with the rest of the posts. But the rest stays as the background INCLUDING the "BUNCO BABES" lettering at the bottom. I thought that was cool!
Well...here it is!

How to create your OWN awesome header!

I have been asked a few times how I got my LeBaron Family Header posted on my blog, so I deciede to share the secret! It was Easy...PHOTOSHOP! LOVE IT! I made a digital scrapbook page using photoshop and awesome papers/elements using a program by Digital Scrapbook Memories.
If you don't have photoshop, there are other programs you can use (some of which can be downloaded free from the internet). There are also sites to download papers and elements, or you can create you own. But I prefer to purchase from DigitalScrapbookMemories.com! TOTALLY worth it!
Digital Scrapbooking is just like normal scrapbooking...pretty much! You work with "layers" so you can move, cut, crop, rotate, etc. any paper or elements you use. The best part is that with photoshop you can change the colors of ANY and EVERYthing. So one paper design becomes 1000! IT'S AWESOME!
I started with a 12x12 page, but cropped it down just a titch so it wasn't so tall. So it's more like a 10x12 (...or something, I didn't measure!) Then I layered my papers, added photos (which were edited and cropped) and then finished with my fancy lettering! I added shadows and highlights to different layers to create texture and depth!
Once my page was finished, I saved it as a JPG image and uploaded it to my "header" section and selected the photo instead of words option. TA-DAH! It was actually pretty simple!
Thank you everyone for the compliments on my page! Some day (soon hopefully) I will create my OWN image background for the blog as well. I did one for another blog I am part of and I think it turned out pretty well. :o)
If I've inspired you, HAVE FUN CREATING!!!

My Cute Niece!

Ok, so this is a TOTALLY bogus announcement! I was just in the mood to create a layout for a Blessing announcement with bogus information! :o) But it turned out cute, so I thought I'd post it anyhow!!!

She's Here :o)

This is my NEW cute niece! My brother, Cameron, and his wife, Sherri, added their third little girl to their family last weekend! We are so excited that she is here! She was a week early and a very little baby! I think she is a good mix of her two older sisters, Lindsey & Hailey, who are very happy to have a new baby sister!

These are more announcements I made! I was just having fun...they weren't official announcements or anything. But I think they turned out cute!

So I decided to change the colors and do one for Austin!

And Jack! Aren't they ADORABLE! I guess cute babies run in our family! LOL!
Notice both my babies were more than 2 pounds bigger than Courtney! I guess she just gets to stay little longer for her momma and daddy! Which is a good thing! :o)

Congratulations Cameron & Sherri!
Courtney is super cute! We are glad everything went well and both mom and baby are healthy and home! We love you!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING

Thanks again, Alex, for getting me hooked on digital scrapbooking! I have spent some time getting acquainted with the programs and now I feel pretty confident in my applications! For those of you who don't know what digital scrapbooking is, just take a look at my Header! TA-DA!! With the program, my pictures and photoshop, I created that snazzy thing! I am very pleased with how it turned out! It's by far the most creative thing I've done with the program! :o)
If you think you'll love love love it too....check out www.digitalscrapbookmemories.com for more info! (Even if you just want ideas on cute pages whether it's digital or not!)

Picture Days

I finally put together an album of the boys photo shoot that Emily took! I wish I had given them hair cuts BEFORE the shoot! Oh well! They are crazy and cute! Thanks again Em! Hope you got something you can use!
The boys were cranky and hungry and tired. They wouldn't eat their lunches and they wouldn't sleep before the shoot. And then it was over 100* outside! But I think Emily did a good job in getting fun, candid shots! I especially love Jackson on the slide with his static hair! SO CUTE! And Austin's silly faces...totally him!
We actually took another day to get some more pictures of the two of them together. That's the tough part I realize! I'm glad we did it too...the picture of Austin in the hammock and Jackson on the swing are some of my favorites! And then who couldn't love the finale picture of the boys bawling on the porch?! "WE'RE DONE! STOP!" That is the CUTEST picture ever!

LeBaron Boys

Does this looked POSED to you?! Because it was SO NOT POSED! After a yummy Sunday dinner about a month ago at the LeBaron's the boys all clumped together reading various things, just chillin'! I thought it was so funny how posed they looked! They were standing/sitting there FOREVER too! So I had to take pictures of it! What a crack up!

FHE Night!

For FHE we went to Nuns Park up Provo Canyon with the Martin's (Robert's cousins). We learned about the Urim and Thummim that Joseph Smith found buried with the Golden Plates! Then we made our own Urim and Thummim's using graham crackers, peanut butter, marshmallows, and chocolate chips! YUMMY! We had a lot of fun eating our treats! We also roasted Starbursts, a fun tradition we started last summer with Melody and her family! I can't wait for next year's Starburst Roast!
