Bubble Bath Blues

The boys were given Bubble Bath for Christmas from their Great Grandma Stock! This was the first time I had put them in a bath with bubbles, so I wanted to document it! BAD IDEA!
Well, I suppose I got some cute pictures, and definitely a load of memories to go with them!
The boys took turns splashing around and blowing the bubbles off their hands. Austin got a kick out of "bubble hats" and made sure Jack had one at all times! They were having too much fun, and then...Austin got that look on his face, the one when he poops. But it wasn't just any poop...it when diarrhea. CRAP! (all puns intended)
I put the camera down, grabbed Jack out, grabbed Austin, put him on his potty chair and in my frustration, started giving Austin the "no poop in the tub" lecture.
Then..."uh-oh momma, uh-oh momma, Jack has the camera" says Austin, pointing at his brother. I swung around right in time to watch Jackson drop the camera in the poop infested, bubble filled bath. And that was the end of our camera. Luckily however, these pictures were saved! Now we can remember forever the day the camera died!

Ride Like The Wind Bullseye

Santa brought Jackson this fun little "rocking horse" for Christmas! He can't get a minute to himself to ride it unless Austin is down for a nap!

Austin named this horse Bullseye after Woody's horse in Toy Story 2! He likes to say "Ride like the wind Bullseye"!

I think we have convinced Austin that it is fun to SHARE with Jack! However, Jack is more than happy to get off for Austin!

The day after Christmas we had taken the boys to Walmart and I saw a darling cowboy hat! As soon as I pointed out to Austin he was hooked! There was no way he would let us leave without the hat! Good thing it was only $4! It's a common sight around here to see him wearing nothing but a diaper, cowboy boots and hat! What a stud!

Merry Christmas! We had such a fun Christmas! The month was busy with mom doing her finals and getting ready for Jackson's birthday party on the 19th! We had all the family over for cake and ice-cream! Thanks everyone for coming to see Jackson on his birthday!
The parties continued with the LeBaron's family party on the 20th and then Grandma Paula's birthday party on the 21st! We got to see Christmas Lights in Spanish Fork! That was Austin's favorite!
On Sunday the 23rd we went to Grandma and Grandpa LeBaron's to see the family! We got to go for a ride to look at Christmas Lights around town! We saw a fun yard with big pictures lit up of the Savior! It was very neat! Then we waited in line for over an hour to drive by the Holdman's House. They won a national Christmas Lighting contest! It was very cool! You can watch their light show on their website at http://www.holdman.com/christmas/
On Christmas Eve we went to Grandma and Grandpa Bradford's house to have our traditional candlelight Christmas Eve dinner! We had yummy cheese and chocolate fondue! The boys love to play with their cousins at Grandma's house!
Christmas Day was busy and fun! We spent the morning at our house playing with the presents Santa brought the boys! Austin got a stick horse and Jack got a rocking horse! What fun! We went to G & G Bradford's house in the afternoon to exchange presents and eat waffles! Then we went to the G & G LeBaron's to see all the family and eat dinner! Then we got to call uncle "Mark on a Mission!" (That's what Austin calls him!) Austin got to tell him Merry Christmas, but that was about it! Hopefully in May we can get Austin to talk more on the phone! He is a jabber mouth usually, but only when he wants to be! :o)
It was a Happy Christmas! Thanks family for spending the day with us!

Austin is 2 & 1/2 years old!

Jackson is 1 year old!

They like to read books, sing songs and climb on everything!

Austin loves having a little brother! He gives hugs and kisses, a little too much! When Jackson was first born, he slept in a little bassinet. Every morning when Austin would wake up, he wanted me to lift him up to look inside the bassinet to make sure Jackson was there and OK!
Jackson wants to be just like his brother! I love it when they talk to each other and play nice! :o)

Austin loved playing Cowboy with his boots and hats and horse! He says "Ride like the wind Bullseye!"Austin got a Mr. Potato Head! He walked around the house with the pieces on his own face! He figured out that one all by himself!

The boys love to play the piano!

Jack wasn't too sure about the snow!
Momma brought out chocolate chips to use for the snowman's mouth! Austin wanted to eat them instead!

Daddy and Austin made this snowman! The snow wouldn't pack very well, so they settled for a mini snowman! Austin was so proud!
Austin was excited to get all bundled up to go play in the snow. We can't keep him out of it.
