Handsome Boy

Robert found a black suit at Walmart that looked so handsome on Austin. This picture just doesn't do him justice. He had a black shirt on under the jacket, so it's hard to see. Although Austin thought the suit was nice, he was more interested in the accessories he found. A Dora hat, and a Cars backpack and something else, I forgot... He put on the hat and backpack and was all ready to go. Bummer...I didn't get a picture of him with all the dress ups. He wasn't too pleased at all when we put everything back. It's so hard to be the kid at the store!

Tracy Aviary

Austin liked the the peacocks! None of them would spread their tail feathers for us. They sure are pretty animals. They were walking all over the park so Austin went chasing after one!

These were a few pictures from Robert's phone. You can kind of see the big pelicans behind me and Jack. We didn't have quarters with us, or we would have let the boys feed the birds.

Tracy Aviary

We took the boys to the Tracy Aviary in SLC last friday. They had a lot of fun watching the birds. We didn't get good pictures because we no longer have a real camera...and it wasn't until we were leaving that I thought about grabbing out my cell phone. I think Robert got better pictures on his cell phone, so I'll load those one's in when I can!

When we got there, they were feeding the pelicans! They boys liked watching the birds catch the fish in their big beaks and swallowing the fish whole. They were really big pelicans too!
Austin's favorite were the flamingos. He had the longest attention span watching them stand on one leg. He kept pointing out the birds who had two legs. It was pretty funny.

It was a nice day to visit the park! After the park we went to the hospital to visit my grandma who is recovering from heart surgery. She was doing really well when we went to see her. She was able to leave the hospital Easter morning, so that was nice for her.

We also tried to visit my grandma Stock in Murray, but she was not home. So we said "Hi" to my aunt's family who lives right by her. We told them that we were shopping for nice clothes for the boys and they told us about Steve & Barry's. It is a HUGE store with lines from Sarah Jessica Parker, Amanda Bynes, and a few other famous people. Everything in the store was $8.95 or less. Shoes, coats, pants, accesories...you name it. From adults to baby items. We all got something! It was a fun shopping adventure!

FROG PRINCE

Here is my finished project! I am pleased with how it turned out! I actually had a scare with it on Tuesday. After I had completed the entire thing, I was getting ready to print but I saved it one last time. Well, basically, the computer froze and I lost the file. I had a lab tech at the school come over to help me try and retrieve it, but it was no use. I still had a copy of the rough draft (posted before this one) so at least I didn't have to start from the beginning. I stayed up for hours that night at home finishing it...again.
My sister, Rachel, took the pictures of Mike & Shan on their wedding day, and also the picture of her friend kissing a little tree frog down in/by Guatemala somewhere. That is actually where I got the idea for my project! It was the cutest picture. But the frog was TINY. So I found this picture of the frog online and also a picture of the crown I put on him! The Nueschwanstein Castle was the last picture added to complete my poster! I thought it was a nice touch! (Thanks for the input Triston!) All of the text and colors for the background were free handed by yours truly! I was extremely pleased! I originally wanted bubbles, but starbursts were easier!
Well, that ends the tale of my Movie Poster. Stay tuned for my next project...

Poster Up-Date

I have basically finished the poster project. I will have it posted on Tuesday! I'm excited, it was tons of fun to make! After this section, we will be working with Adobe Indesign, so that will be fun too I'm sure! I'll have to post my first project I finished in Adobe Illustrator. I got an "A". It turned out fine, but now I have a ton of ideas to make it better...but we don't have to turn them in again, so I'm good.
I'm excited to find out what my final project will be. I'll have to ask for some ideas I'm sure...so keep checking back!

A Silly Questionaire

(So I guess this is how this works, I got tagged by my friend and then I answer these questions and tag someone else, then the people I tag answer the questions and then tag someone they want to tag and so on and so on.) Questionaire from Triston:

What is your husbands name? Hyrum Robert LeBaron. He goes by Robert, but insists that his kids call him daddy. (Austin tells people his name is Austin "daddy Robert" LeBaron)

How long have you been together? Robert and I liked each other months before our first date, but that date was May 9, 1998. And for those of you who know that I didn't turn 16 until May 10, 1998...just know that the date wasn't over till 12:30 am on May 10th....SO THERE! So it will be 10 years this May! CRAZY!

How long did you date? We dated off and on throughout High School, but always stayed friends. From the time of our first date to the time we were married, it was 5 1/2 years. (minus the mission, but we faithfully wrote each other the entire two years!)

Who eats more? Robert does. But he burns it more too. Booger.

Who said I love you first? We (probably me) started writing it in letters first, you know, "love, me" or "love ya, me". I don't remember who or when it was first verbalized.

Who is taller? We are basically the same. He was taller in H.S. but I kept growing when he was on his mission. I just make sure he wears shoes with tall soles and I wear flip flops! And all of my cute, tall shoes from back in the day, I left with my sister!

Who has more speeding tickets? Robert does. But I got the worst one in a school zone. Crap! It was most definitely not busy and the flashing light was behind a tree and I was distracted by an accident I had just passed. PLUS... Austin had Rota Virus and was completely poopy and had no clothes on...I just wanted to get home. *SIGH*

Who is smarter? It depends on the subject. But I definitely have a better memory!

Who is more sensitive? Humph...well, I am more outwardly sensitive, but Robert has his moments.

When there is a fight who usually wins? We both do...RIGHT?!

Who does the laundry? We both do the laundry.

Who does the dishes? Robert. I HATE DOING THE DISHES. But ask him the last time he's cleaned a toilet...yeah...that's right. I went there.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do. But we switch depending on the door location in relation to the bed we are in...he's usually closer to the door for the crazies who might attack! But when I'm prego, I am closer to the door for the many a night potty trips.

Who pays the bills? I should...but don't. So Robert does....but I still should...

Who mows the lawn? Robert does of coarse! It's one of his favorite past times. Well, that and shoveling snow!

Who drives when you are together? Robert does.

Who is more stubborn? Oh my...we SO both are. I'm more verbally stubborn, but WOW. I think Robert would surprise you all in this category!

Who kissed who first? I kissed Robert on December 10th 1998. Exactly 7 months after our first date (on my 16th birthday).

Who asked who out first? I asked Robert to MORP. Good times!

Who proposed? Robert proposed to me in South Fork Canyon on September 6, 2003. We were married 10 weeks later. WAHOO!

Who has more siblings? Robert has 5 siblings. I have 3.

I now tag anyone who wants to be cool like me! :o)

Movie Poster

I am really enjoying my graphic design class. It sure keeps
me busy though. This is the 1st draft for my photoshop
project. It's due next week, but I have to get it critiqued tomorrow.
So, what do you think? I was thinking it needed trees or a castle.
I suppose I will post the finished project next week!
